Editorial policy
Lasting Concert Guide aims to make its guidance clear, considered and useful without overstating what a personal memory or keepsake can tell us.
Accuracy and care
We check factual statements against suitable sources when a piece makes claims that can be verified, and we take care to distinguish general suggestions from personal preference. We do not invent experience, quotations, credentials or evidence. Readers can contact us about an error or unclear passage; we review concerns and correct material when warranted.
Independence and partnerships
Editorial decisions are made separately from partnership arrangements. Any paid, gifted or partner material is labelled clearly so readers can recognise its nature. A collaboration does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.
Images and illustration
Images are selected to support the subject and are not presented as documentary evidence unless their context is made clear. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when that is the case, we identify them as such.
Corrections
We welcome specific correction requests through the Contact page. When a correction is needed, we update the relevant wording and make the change clear where appropriate.
A memory is more than a set list
We believe a few personal details can bring a concert back vividly. There is no single right way to keep them: a sentence, a programme or a remembered moment can all be enough.
